Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose Rebel Tours?
We are uniquely qualified to guide you through Denver's street art scene. We've spent years cultivating personal relationships with many local and traveling artists. The founder, Cori Anderson, is an art aficionado — having written over 150 articles about Denver art in the last two years. Plus, we offer tours in multiple neighborhoods, regular appearances from street artists, and scavenger hunts to do on your own.
How long are the walking tours?
Typically, the tours last 90 - 120 minutes (1 1/2 - 2 hours) This includes the meet-up at the beginning, a short discussion, seeing street art and concluding. Expect to walk for roughly one hour to one hour and 15 minutes. The exact timing of the tour depends on each tour group's walking speed.
What should I wear?
Good walking shoes — we will be walking in alleys and on sidewalks, streets and other surfaces in various states of disrepair. Our tours continue in rain or shine, which means proper clothing or sun protection is highly encouraged.
Am I allowed to take photos?
Yes. Take as many as you want. We will provide the proper artist name(s) and/or hashtags to use on social media and we kindly ask that you give credit when posting or sharing.
Can I cancel after I've made my reservation?
You may cancel 24 hours after your reservation is made by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, you may change the date of reservation, as long as you notify us 24 hours in advance. Other postponements or cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Check out our refund policy.
Can I change the location of my tour after booking?
If you reserve a Rebel Tour for one neighborhood (for instance, RiNo) but change your mind and want to go on a different one, please contact us at email@example.com. We can accommodate most requests.
How do I know your site is secure?
The Street Art Network is powered by Shopify. Shopify makes sure the site is safe and secure for all transactions with a bank-level SSL certification. We might be rebels, but we make sure other rebels won't get your information.
What do I need to do before the tour?
Please meet at the designated meet-up place 5-10 minutes before the tour start time. Your tour guide will be there with a white shirt and clipboard. You will need to read and sign a liability waiver before the tour begins.
Can I buy a tour for a friend?
Yes! Please contact us for more information.
I want to see a specific mural. Can you take me there?
Specific murals, street art, graffiti and other public art installations change on a regular basis. That's the nature of street art. We cannot always guarantee you will see a specific piece, though we are open to requests. We also offer private tours that can be customized to your needs or wants.
Will I see illegal graffiti?
Yes. Of course.
